I used to run a Canon S9000 and S900 off my computer untill the S9000 wore out, now I have the S900 and the iP6700D hooked up. I have also bought a high-quality short USB cable and tried it with that - just the same problem. I have had the printer back to two authorised dealers who (after a very limited testing) said it was working perfectly. But it still spits out the print job whenevery it feels like it, wether it be an image, text or CD face it is printing, and never at the same spot twice - could be 10% completed, or up to 95% completed. It took a lot of effort to get Windows XP to find it - won that round. I've got this big waste-of-space sitting on my desk which taunts me every day to fight with it.
